Our commitment

AR Construction & Fab wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or other assistive technology. We build this site toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We do not claim the site is fully compliant or certified. We treat this as ongoing work, not a box we checked once.

What we have done

A visible focus outline on every link, button, and form field, so keyboard users can always see where they are.
A skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
Labels tied to every form field, plus error messages that are announced and linked to the field they belong to, not shown by color alone.
A real keyboard trap and Escape-to-close on our quote pop-up and mobile menu, so keyboard users cannot get stuck or lost behind them.
Text and button colors checked and adjusted to meet WCAG contrast targets.
A reduced-motion setting that stops our homepage background video and other animation for visitors who have that preference turned on.

Known limits

A few things are outside our direct control or are still on our list:

Our homepage background video has no audio track, so it has no captions to add. It is purely decorative and hidden from screen readers.
The Google Maps embed and the Google reCAPTCHA widget on our forms are built and styled by Google, not by us. We cannot fully control their accessibility.
We review the site regularly, but a site this size can still have gaps we have not found yet.
